Easy to install, fits large cats
When looking for a cat door so we could put our litter boxes in the garage, I knew we needed something for our large male cat (14 pounds). A normal sized cat door wouldn’t fit him, but we didn’t want anything crazy huge either. We ended up going for the large size which worked perfectly.
Our kitten very eagerly figured out how to use the door, but we were worried about our older more hesitant cat. Fortunately, this cat door is very easy for them to open so he was able to get it within a few days. It slides back and forth both ways easily and doesn’t get stuck. There are multiple locking features that we won’t be using but may be useful for families with animals who are going inside/outside.
This cat door was also easy to install and took my dad less than thirty minutes.
