It works fine.
I hesitated to write this review, since I've only had the battery a short while and have used it only once...but Amazon keeps bugging me for some reason, so here's my review. The battery has charged properly in the charger I already owned, and it functioned perfectly the one time I've used it, which was in a B&D tire inflator. Based on this limited experience, I'd say that this battery is excellent. I'll modify this review if anything bad happens. For the record, my other 20V B&D tool is a drill. I also own 4 tools (chain saw, hedge trimmer, small blower and small string trimmer) in their 36/40 volt line, and those tools along with their 3 batteries are still going strong after several years. And just to show what a geek I am, I also own a 56V Ego edger and 80V Kobalt blower and mower.
