Our porch cats love this product!
I live in Virginia, and while we don't get winters anywhere near comparison to my years living north of Syracuse NY, my quartet of "porch cats" are no strangers to sub-freezing temperatures. It would be cruel to leave them outside during nights (and even days) that near single digits, and that's why we ordered this Two-Story Outdoor Kitty House with a Heated "Dining Room."
While I don't profess to chat with my cats, nor do I possess any telepathic powers, but when I head out to look at them on these frozen nights and see several heads poking out, I realize what purpose this serves, and I couldn't be happier that I've purchased this cat house. For the price, seeing them comfortable in weather that could otherwise kill them, The price is MORE than worth it.
Final point: it's hung together through the whole winter and there are no rips or wear other than normal occupation issues like hair accumulation. This product is worth it for your cats (mine are mid-size), and they love it.
