Keeps the water bowl in place
This micro-fiber place mat works great in our kitchen area! Great basic neutral color with adorable paw prints. We have tiles in our kitchen and most place mats we have used have not stayed in place. Usually, the water bowl winds up spilling over the floor. With kittens, they like to play and will run around the house and dive into the bowls of water and make a big mess. Our kittens love water and when they drink, they try to climb in the bowl and sit in it, it is very funny, but it does make a puddle. Also, when our ferret drinks from the water bowl, she likes to knock it over when she is done drinking. So, with our pets the water bowl never seems to stay in place.
This placement works great with the anti-skid backing and now the place mat stays in place, even on tiles. Now when our ferret spills the water bowl when she is done drinking, at least the place mat soaks it all up. No longer is the water all over the floor. I just wring it out, let it dry and put it back.
It is long enough to fit 2 water bowls, or a water bowl and a food dish. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to other pet owners.
