Solid & Well Designed
Over 30 years ago in England, my Mom bought a set of electric salt/pepper grinders similar to these ones. Recently, the clear acrylic part of the old salt grinder cracked and eventually disintegrated. We had so loved the old set, that I went on Amazon to find a new one.
I discovered KSL set and was impressed by the improvements that had been made to the design. The main housing of the grinders is metal, not plastic. Access to the battery compartment is separated at the top of the device and there are guiding marks for opening and locking. Access to the spice compartment lower down has similar guiding markers. Our old set did not have these markings which make opening and locking the grinders much easier and secure. Thus far, the new KSL grinders work very efficiently. The size of the grind can easily be adjusted. Hopefully they last 30+ years as well!
