MY HARD TO PLEASE AFRICAN GREY LUVS IT
Super fast shipping! I ordered this on Monday, it arrived on Wednesday. My african grey is so persnickety about what she'll stand on I hesitated to buy her yet another perch that she would avoid, but her nails were getting so sharp, and she's getting a new cage soon so I thought I'd give this a try. When I first put it in her cage she went to the back of the cage & avoided it as usual... I placed it up high because she always sits on the highest perch. Later in the evening I decided to place it lower near her food bowl. That was all it took. Since getting on it she hasn't left it for long, even though it's the lowest perch in her cage! That's a first! I ordered the large & it's very large, much bigger than I thought it would be, but thats good for her because I think it will work better to file down her nails. l also like that it varies the circumferance by alternating narrow & fat along the length. She seems to absolutely luv it & that amazes me. She's been sitting on it all morning preening herself I've tried these type of perches in the past & she would never use them, so this one is a keeper Very happy with this purchase!
