Ruffy is best for dogs that love toys that squeak but are not overly aggressive chewers. Ruffy is strong, but no dog toy is indestructible.

My Papillion Loves This Toy
This is one of my dog's absolute favorite toys. She usually prefers plush toys with squeakers in them, but she just loves squeaking this toy, biting on the loose straps on either end, and vigorously shaking it back and forth so that the each side hits the floor with a satisfying slapping-sound. When she sits down and bites on the little loose ends, you can see that she likes the way it feels on her gums and teeth. I think it helps her gums stay healthy too. She also likes for me to throw it high above her head so she can catch it in mid-air. It is very light-weight.
It is priced a little higher than some of her other toys, but it lasts her a long time. When she finally chews through the tough fabric and the stuffing starts coming out, or the squeaker stops working, I buy her another one right away. Her last one lasted almost a year, but she is not too rough with her toys. For reference, her other favorite toys are the small and large lambchop that I also buy her from Amazon. Those usually last her about six months.
