good alternative to kong
We've been pretty loyal purchasers of KONG air squeaker balls for years. Our Chi/pug mix is addicted to them. He usually removes the squeaker in five minutes, strips the ball of the outer covering, and then chews on that rubber inside for weeks. KONG recently changed the formulation of the inner rubber of their balls. It's now white and crumbles into tiny pieces after a short time of jawing. Not only did the substance of the ball change, but Kongs have a terrible smell now, too. They have quite a chemical smell now, and our little guy doesn't spend any time at all on them.
So, in desperation (first world problems, I know!), I started buying other brands and just received these. Voila! Black/brown rubber inside, no terrible smell, and our chug is in heaven. He's like his old crackhead self with these! I'm going to stock up!
