Easy to spray and non toxic, pricey
The liquid is clear and looks like water. It is non scented, although when I opened the foil seal on the bottle, of course I had to smell it, so if you have ever been to a hotel with an indoor swimming pool, that scent you get when first entering, that’s what I smelled. Not chlorine, just a hotel swimming pool. I can’t really explain beyond that.
The nozzle is really easy to squeeze and there’s no scent whatsoever when spraying. It comes out a very fine mist. It also says you can use it to freshen your dogs breath, but, not going to lie, that makes me a little nervous, so I’m not sure if I’ll try that.
I got this mostly to spray on my dogs pet beds and blankets, and on my bed after the dogs go into the crate at night. I let them out for potty breaks and just after 5 minutes, especially my poodle mix, comes back in smelling like dog, and that smell he likes to carry around the house. I sprayed some of this on their beds and blankets, it took about 3-4 minutes to dry. It’s been 10 minutes, I picked up a dog bed and it actually helped neutralize the odor, I can still smell a little, but I’m hoping another few sprays would be better.
I also tried it on my poodles little poof on his head, didn’t rid the odor 100%, but it definitely did help.
So the only thing I kind of hit a snag on, was on the bottom of the bottle the expiration date is April 2023, while on the side of the label on the bottle it says, “ to ensure the best deodorizations effect, please use it up within 30 days of opening”. Now, I’m sure it will still help after the 30 days, but will not work as good. For the current price, I’d expect to hopefully use something like this at it’s strongest, over the course of some months. So that was kind of a bummer, I feel rushed to use it. And considering it’s a 10oz bottle, i doubt I’ll go through it within 30 days. So just something for others to keep in mind while purchasing.
