Great for two cats
Like most of the other people writing reviews, our cats were waking us up at 5:30 am (or earlier) wanting to be fed. This takes care of that problem. Bowls are very easy to keep clean. For those people worried about portion sizes: weigh what you are giving your cats on a scale, then use the feeder and manually dispense 1 to 3 portions. With the food I use, 3 was about right for 1/3 cup. It took a bit of playing around to get the measurement right, but it works. Least useful feature for us is the ability to record our voice to announce a feeding -- the cats hear the first piece hit the bowl and go running. What I really need is a reminder for me to fill the tower with food.
