YES! WET FOOD WORKS
This is PERFECT for a couple days away from the cat. Each side has a 24 hour limit. I use with room temp wet food and it's fine. BUT, if that weirds you out, put the wet food in the freezer to get a solid block. Put the block in the compartment and by the time the door swings open, the food will have thawed out and less juices will have accumulated. Cat loves it and anticipates it to flop open every morning!
