Works for cats who like playing in water
I picked the Pagoda because one of my new kittens discovered a fascination with water. I previously had a Catit water fountain which worked fine until the water play started. My kitten would disassemble until the Fountain flooded my floor. Unlike a plastic fountain the Pagoda is heavy enough so the cat can’t knock over so the pump is spraying water everywhere. Note: The cat is able to move the water fountain so the water won’t flood properly but no flooding to the floor.
The downsize is that unlike an enclosed fountain your cat can still play in the water. My solution is to have the Pagoda sitting in a container so when my cat is splashing around it will catch the water. I am really hoping he will outgrow the water play.
