It works !!!
You can see my review of the Petsafe Cat Fence to get the entire picture. The collar has worked perfectly once i figured out how to turn it on. I put the battery in but did not see the on / off part where you rotate the dial using the " key" included . I went online to read the directions about the collar to try to figure out why it was not working . Now everything is fine. I have 2 cats and neither one of them is bothered by the collar, which to me is a little cumbersome. The collar beeps as they approach the transmitter. Both the cats have thick hair and I was worried that the collar would have no effect, but I have observed it give them a static " shock" and they do not like it ! They kind of jerk and then turn around and walk away ! Yay ! Now the beep is enough to deter them . As my other review states, I am trying to protect some expensive furniture and for the first time am able to do so ! My living room furniture is finally safe !!
