Works very well for tracking my cat
I use this to track my larger cat. Tucker is 18 lbs, and does not have a problem with the size of the tracker. I have been using it for a few weeks and it has worked great. Even one night after he was caught out in a thunderstorm with torrents of rain. I was able to track him to a neighborhood about 1500’ away and get him home before dark. The cell service in our area is very poor, especially indoors, so for me specifically, the battery lasts about a day. So just like my phone, I charge the tracker each night, put it back on him in the morning and he is good to roam. I get notified when he leaves the “virtual fence” and when he comes back. The only wish list item for the next revision would be to make the audible tone louder. I even suggested this to the support team and they were extremely responsive. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to track their larger cat or dog, especially if they are in a less populated area like woods or fields. It does need cell service to work, and your app needs cell service or internet access to see where they are, so keep that in mind. Once you are close enough it will switch to Bluetooth, but by that point you can probably see them, or they can see you and are heading toward you for a treat.
