Better than expected provided pleasant surprise.
I normally don't leave reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised with this purchase I thought I'd offer my experience to possibly help others make up their minds.
When we decided to purchase one of these type of products to save our furniture from our two cats it turned into a whirlwind of indecision. One review would say something was great and yet another would say it didn't live up to the description. I finally decided on this one and kept fingers crossed it wouldn't disappoint. It arrived quickly, went together easily (despite my husband not listening that it needs to be built from top down and having to restart, lol) and it's sturdy enough for our two cats to play on together without toppling over. I was worried about this because one of our cats it over 12 lbs but still a kitten at heart and the other is about 5lbs and is very active and antagonistic to the larger. I thought they would have territory disputes over the top pedestal, but pleasantly enough the days following putting this together I've found them laying on it together comfortably. Since we've only had it a couple weeks I cannot claim to know how long it will last, but for the value and apparent quality it's already proven to be worth what we spent. Not to mention our couch hasn't been clawed at one time since getting this. Both cats seem to enjoy clawing at the sisle rope covered posts instead, thank goodness! It's a much better deal to buy this than a new couch. Hope this helps.
