Rabbit nest box
I breed mini lops, which are larger than Holland lops. This thing works great as a nest box IF you keep your doe in a larger area than a normal cage. Nice and dark inside, removable cover, and the threshold is nice and high: when the babies are strong enough to hop out on their own reliably, they are ready to be done with the nest box. There's enough room inside that the doe has a better chance to hop in without landing on anybody. Which means there's a small chance that some babies will not get fed, but if that is acceptable, it's a wonderful nest box, I feel it's worth the small risk. When I check on them every evening, if there are any of them not in the group snuggle, I'll tuck them back in. Side note: I used to stress about runts, and arrange for them to get extra nursing time, (My doe is very tolerant) but I've learned that this does not at ALL ensure their survival, (it doesn't even seem to help them put on a lot of weight), it only breaks your heart when they don't make it, I don't recommend it But yeah, I like this nest box, despite the somewhat large size. I'll bet it will work well for any size of pet rabbit, except the giants.
